BudgetPay FAQs
Budget Pay is a payment option that allows you to spread the total cost of an item into multiple installments at no additional charge, making shopping at Shop LC even more convenient!
When shopping the live broadcast, the hosts will indicate which items are eligible for BudgetPay and a BudgetPay graphic BudgetPay will be shown with the item. You will also be given the BudgetPay payment option when ordering an eligible item through the automated ordering phone system at 1-877-899-0099FREE. BudgetPay is also available for Catalog purchases and Live TV purchases online. BudgetPay is available on catalog purchases and Live TV Web purchases. Unfortunately, BudgetPay is not available on Online Auction bids.
Credit Cards and Debit Cards may be used to purchase BudgetPay items. Pre-paid gift cards are not eligible for a BudgetPay purchase. Paypal cannot be used with BudgetPay
BudgetPay allows for up to 5 payment installments, this is specified in the product presentation and product information.
The price of the item will be divided into multipleequal payments. The first payment will include all Shipping & Handling and taxes. Your first payment will always be higher than the remaining payments because of the additional charges for Shipping & Handling and taxes.
The first payment will be charged to your selected method of payment on the day your order is placed. After this, installments will be charged to the same selected method of payment 30 days after the day your order is placed, and then after 30 days the next payment will be made. Depending on how many payments the order is split into, payments will be made at 30, 60, 90 and 120 days after the initial payment was made.
Once your order has shipped, you can pay the total remaining installment balance anytime by contacting our Customer Service Department at 1-877-899-0078 . Please have your invoice and order numbers with you to expedite your request. You can also pay for your BudgetPay items via Budget Orders in My Account.
To update your credit card information for BudgetPay orders, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-877-899-0078FREE. You can also update your BudgetPay payment methods in My Account, under BudgetPay Orders.
BudgetPay may only be applied to eligible items and must be selected at the time of placing the order. We are not able to apply BudgetPay to an order after it has been placed.
When you prepare the return packing slip, you may select a refund to the original method of payment or store credit. You will be refunded or given a store credit for the amount you have paid to date at the time your return is processed. Future monthly payments for the returned item will be cancelled once the item has been received and processed. Depending on your financial institution, please allow 3 to 5 business days for refunds to your credit or debit card to show up in your account. A confirmation email is sent to you with refund confirmations. If you do not have an email associated to your Shop LC account, you will receive a call with your refund confirmation.
BudgetPay Terms & Conditions
BudgetPay is an installment payment program offered by The Jewelry Channel, Inc. d/b/a “Shop LC” (“Shop LC”). By making a BudgetPay purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms of Use”). Shop LC reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to modify any portion of these Terms of Use. Modifications to these Terms of Use will be effective when posted at http://www.shoplc.com/budgetpay-terms. By purchasing an item through BudgetPay, you agree to the then-current Terms of Use.
BudgetPay provides you the ability to purchase items through an installment plan of multiple payments the exact number of which will be communicated to you at the time of purchase. The initial payment will include the partial price of your order plus all applicable taxes and non-refundable shipping charges. The remaining payments will be charged to the original method of payment at thirty (30) day intervals after purchase.
• You may pay by credit card or debit card.
• When an item is returned you may choose to receive either a refund or a store credit for the amount previously paid. If you do not have an email associated to your Shop LC account, you will receive a call with your refund. Please refer to the full return policy listed in the Terms of Sale at http://www.shoplc.com/returns.
• You may pay the full balance of your BudgetPay order at any time by contacting customer service.
• You may request a written record of your payments at any time.
RESTRICTIONS
Only certain items may be purchased using BudgetPay, those items eligible for BudgetPay will be clearly marked with the BudgetPay logo. When shopping the live broadcast, the hosts will indicate which items are eligible for BudgetPay and a BudgetPay graphic will be shown with the item. When ordering only BudgetPay icon will display on product image and during checkout. You will also be given the BudgetPay payment option when ordering an eligible item through the automated ordering phone system at 1-877-899-0099. BudgetPay is not available through the Shop LC website for Online Auction bids. For more information, please contact our Customer Service Department via email at Customerservice@shoplc.com or by phone at 1-877-899-0078. If you have any past due unpaid monthly installments, BudgetPay will not be available as a method of payment; however, you will be able to continue shopping with other methods of payment in full including credit or debit cards and PayPal credit.
COLLECTION PRACTICES
Shop LC abides by applicable state and federal regulations regarding installment sales. If an automatic payment cannot be charged to the recorded credit or debit card provided to Shop LC by the 6th day after payment is due, your account will be referred to Shop LC's collection process. By making a BudgetPay purchase, you agree to be contacted by Shop LC by email and phone. If by the 30th day after payment is due, the debt owed to Shop LC for such purchase has not been resolved, Shop LC will refer your account to a 3rd party collection agency.
LIMITED LIABILITY
Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall Shop LC be liable for any indirect, special, exemplary, or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, BudgetPay even if Shop LC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Shop LC's total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract or tort, including but not limited to, negligence, or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you. Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you. In such states, Shop LC's liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shop LC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of this Agreement by you. The provisions of these Terms of Use are for the benefit of Shop LC and its officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, licensors, and suppliers. Each of these individuals or entities shall have the right to assert and enforce those provisions directly against you on its own behalf.
MISCELLANEOUS
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the United States of America, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law or the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these terms (including the Privacy Policy) shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. In no event shall you be entitled to injunctive or other equitable relief. If any provision of these Terms of Use shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. For any such void term, the term shall be reformed to represent, to the extent possible under applicable law, the intent of the parties.
INTERPRETATION
These Terms and Conditions of Use (and the links contained herein) state the entire agreement between the parties relating to use of BudgetPay. These Terms and Conditions of Use may not be amended except as provided above.
ELIGIBILITY
In order to be eligible to use BudgetPay and purchase products from Shop LC, you must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of United States of America or Canada. Your eligibility to utilize BudgetPay to purchase Shop LC items is contingent upon Shop LC's reasonable discretion.
Shop LC reserves the right to limit the total amount a customer may accrue in BudgetPay outstanding balance, regardless of payment status. ShopLC defines the general BudgetPay cap to $5,000.00. This amount which may vary due to economic environment conditions.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
In addition, the Terms and Conditions of Sale, which can be found at http://www.shoplc.com/terms, shall also apply, but only to the extent that they do not conflict with the BudgetPay Terms of Use.

The wireless carrier does not guarantee that alerts will be delivered and will not be liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
