Meet Lauren Masters!

We asked Heather some questions, see what she had to say!

What is your favorite gemstone?
It’s hard to narrow down my favorite gemstone to just one so... how about two? First, I love sleeping beauty turquoise. I love the vibrant, rich, solid blue tone. I’m also a major country music fan and love some western flair. Sleeping beauty pieces are so great to tie in with some boots and fringe for a fun pop of color. Second is moissanite. To be honest before coming to Shop LC the gem was completely foreign to me. I remember sitting with Stephanie (our then livestream manager and now model manager) discussing my second livestream and the theme was moissanite. Stephanie was trying to explain this mystique that the stone had and the next thing you know Hunter burst around the corner and gave me the low down on all things moissanite. I fell in love during that first moissanite livestream. I love the rainbow refraction of light, that I’ve coined the rainbow sparkle effect on my livestreams. My sentimental, nostalgic nature connects moissanite to being a kid in the car and seeing those speckles of the rainbow move across the roof when the sunlight would hit something shiny. It’s funny the little life moments that stick with us.

If you could sum up your look and aesthetic in three words, what would they be?
Fun, Girly, Pink

Any fashion or jewelry tips?
I have been saying that 2024 is the year to take Shania Twain’s advice that “The best part of being a woman is the prerogative to have a little fun,” but honestly every year is the year to embrace this motto. We are women we can wear hearts, stars, glitter, sparkle, bright colors. Why not? Your personal style when it comes to fashion and jewelry is your chance to have fun and express who you are. I’m a pink, hearts, and glitter kind of girl. Whatever your style is embrace it and don’t be afraid to let you shine through in everything you put on.

Who is your ultimate style icon?
Barbie or Cher from “Clueless”

Any embarrassing on-screen moments?
On an 11pm-2am shift with Matt we were nearing the end of the show and I guess I was hitting that sleepy wall. Matt mentioned that the most expensive jade ring in auction had sold for close to 20 million and my reaction was, “Oh my gosh Matt, that’s the price of a car.” My sleepy brain had swapped 20 million to 20 thousand. Matt then asked what kind of car I was driving and if it resembled a spaceship. Yes, I do know the price of a car.

Anything else you would like to share?
I am a huge rescue animal advocate. I own a rescue pit-bull named Camry and have fostered 8 other dogs. My heart breaks every time I have to give a foster back but the idea that I am giving these pups a second chance at a loving and safe home makes every tear worth it.

Fun fact is that I have appeared in two country music videos. One for Chase Rice (Way Down Yonder) and another for Coffey Anderson (Cowboy Style). Growing up a Texas girl and country music fan it’s every little girl’s dream to be the girl in a country song and I still pinch myself at these experiences.

My faith guides my life. Without God I am nowhere. I’ve seen him work in big ways in my life including the little doors that opened and led me to Shop LC.
