Meet Matt Wegzyn!

Matt, an internationally recognized luxury goods expert, is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He played collegiate football at the University of Tennessee before venturing into the home shopping industry as a host at the young age of 24. Matt has worked on multiple national television networks and professionally shopped the Tax and Duty Free markets in the Caribbean and Alaska as a luxury expert.

Matt has shopped in over 30 countries, with nearly a million people utilizing his expertise in brokering deals on jewelry, gemstones and timepieces. His relationships with some of the largest names in the industry combined with his rich knowledge served clients before finding his way to Shop LC.

What is your favorite gemstone?
Opal is my favorite gemstone and the reason I fell in love with gemology. It’s unique, natural beauty and play of color makes it one of the most incredible stones you can own.

Everyone should focus on being their own personal fashion icon. Style is an expression of self, so be yourself and wear what you love.

Any embarrassing on-screen moments?
I am unapologetically myself on air, so I have too much fun at work to feel embarrassed.
